A Vision for Your Heart – Part 4

 

Above everything else, guard your heart; for it is the source of life’s consequences.

                  Prov. 4:23 (CJB)

 

My vision is that I (we) would increasingly develop:

  1. A heart for God. 2. A heart for the local church. 3.        A heart for the lost

 

  1. A heart for service – Express God’s love for people by regularly & practically meeting real needs in people’s live in my community.

 

The CCC Motto: Loving God by Serving Others

 

 

Questions to help develop my heart for the lost:

 

26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, Matthew 20:26 (NIV84)

 

1.) 1. How am I developing _________________________________________________?

 

 

 

27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— Matthew 20:27 (NIV84)

 

2.) How am I ___________________________________________serving other people?

 

 

 

28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28 (NIV84)

 

3.) Where am I on the _____________________________________________________?

  • Have I started with a willingness to serve?
  • Am I growing into an eagerness to serve?
  • Is there evidence of maturing into an enthusiasm to serve?

 

 

Is it my vision to have a heart for service: loving God by serving others?
