A Heart for Prayer
A Vision for Your Heart – Part 6
Prov. 4:23 (MSG) - Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts.
My vision is that I (we) would increasingly develop:
- A heart for God 3. A heart for the lost 5. A heart for discipleship
- A heart for the local church 4. A heart for service
- A heart for prayer - Commit to prayer as a way of life in Christ. Choose to develop a dependence on God through prayer. Birth all kingdom building or kingdom expanding efforts in prayer.
Questions to help evaluate my heart for prayer:
16 Rejoice always, 1 Thess. 5:16 (ESV)
1.) How am I finding ____________________________________ in what God is doing in my life?
17 pray without ceasing, 1 Thess. 5:17 (ESV)
2.) How am I developing________________________________________________ with God as I go through life?
18 give thanks in all circumstances… 1 Thess. 5:18 (ESV)
3.) How am I _________________________________________ in every circumstance I find myself in?
