Awana is an exciting, high-energy club that is hosted by Cottonwood Community Church on Wednesdays-- and you are invited! (2019-20 Awana will begin in September, date TBD)
Each Awana club night has a crazy fun theme, and includes pizza and dessert for the family, fun games, scripture memorization, and bible-centered lessons. Dinner is served at 6pm, and Awana club goes from 6:20-8:00pm.
Parents & Volunteers
At Cottonwood, we encourage parents to volunteer during Awana club! We recognize that you as a parent have the greatest impact on your child's spiritual development. If you are interested in learning more about volunteering, please visit the Awana sign-in table during Awana club nights!
If you are a new volunteer, you will need to fill out the Children's Ministry Application. For returning volunteers, please fill out the Authorization for Background Checks form. Please bring all forms to the Awana sign-in table, or email them to:
The Goal of Awana
Awana's goal is to "reach boys and girls for the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him." It is a great way for your child to make friends and learn more about God!

Registration & Fees
Awana is divided into three clubs:
Cubbies (ages 3-5)
Sparkies (Kindergarten-2nd grade)
T&T (3rd-6th grade)
If you are interested in registering your child(ren) for Awana, please fill our a registration form (found at the Awana sign in table downstairs). Your information is kept confidential and serves as medical information and permission form to cover all Awana activities throughout the Awana club year.
