A Vision for Your Heart – Part 3

 

Above all else, guard your affections. For they influence everything else in your life.

                  Proverbs 4:23 (TLB)

 

My vision is that I (we) would increasingly develop:

  1. A heart for God. 2. A heart for the local church.

 

  1. A heart for the lost – Cultivate compassion for people who don’t know Christ. Practice lifestyle evangelism.   Be a good neighbor. Offer true friendship & kindness to people who don’t know Christ as Savior. Boldly & frequently share the Gospel.

 

Questions to help develop my heart for the lost:

 

36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.  Matthew 9:36 (ESV)
