Passage: 1 John 5:11-13
Full of Life (in a Crazy Busy World)
John 10:10 – I have come that they might have life and have it to the full!
- Full of Joy! (1 John 1:3); Filled by Grace! (1 John 2:2); Full of Faith! (1 John 3:1); Full of Love! (1 John 4:16); Full of Life! ( 1 John 5:13)
“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that YOU HAVE eternal life!” 1 John 5:13 (NIV84)
Question: And who can win this battle against the (Crazy Busy) world? 1 John 5:5a (NLT)
Answer: Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God! 1 John 5:5b (NLT)
Signs that you are full of life:
His commandments are not burdensome. 1 John 5:3
- Obedience isn’t a burden.
Every child of God defeats this evil world… 1 John 5:4
- Saying “No” to temptation becomes easier.
I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13
- Confidence that Jesus is enough...
- …for my now & for my later.
Keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts. 1 John 5:21
- The World and its desires fade away.
- 1 John 2:15-17 à The World, its cravings and the Child of God
God wants us to be “Full of Life in a Crazy Busy World!”
