Prayer

Part 3 - Full of Life in a Crazy Busy World!

Reminder: when starting a new habit, make your goals ‘do-able.’

Prayer is often the difference between: a ‘busy life’ and a ‘full life.’

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.                  Phil. 4:6

1. Prayer is the cure for worry and anxiety.

  • You can worry or you can pray, but you can’t do both!

Tell God what you need…Phil. 4:6

2. Prayer is updating God on your life.

  • Express your desires, hopes, dreams, requests and needs to God.

and thank him for all he has done.Phil. 4:6

3. Prayer is thanking God for all he has done.

Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Phil. 4:9

4. Prayer is the first step of obedience.

  • Example: Evangelism (Does it freak you out?)

  • Prayer Lists help me obey God!

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus…  Then the God of peace will be with you. Phil. 4:7,9

5. Prayer leads to peace.

  • Try this before a meal: Be still before God. (Ps. 46:10)

Is your life busy? Or is your life FULL?

Prayer leads to a Full Life!
