Serving

Part 4 - Full of Life in a Crazy Busy World!

We can be full of life through serving because:

Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.                  Gal. 6:2

1.) Serving starts with following Christ’s example!

  • Phil. 2 – the attitude of Christ!

If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important. Gal. 6:3

2.) Serving helps me remember that: I am not that important!

Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.Gal. 6:4

3.) Serving helps me escape the comparison trap.

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.Gal. 6:9

4.) Serving requires perseverance, but brings blessing into our lives!

10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.Gal. 6:10

5.) Serving develops an “eager and willing heart.

To be “Full of Life in a Crazy Busy World”, position yourself:

…Before God by Journaling His Word! (SOAP it!)

…Between God and a lost world in Prayer!

…Beneath the church by Serving others!
