Passage: Galatians 6:7-8

I Need God’s Word to Change Me!

 

 

- A “Defining Moment” Story from my life…

 

 

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.           Galatians 6:7-8

 

1.) I believe “dying to self” is required in order to grow spiritually. Do you?  ________

 

 

 

 

 

 

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

 

2.)   I believe God’s Word is powerful enough make me new inside-out. Do you? _____

 

 

 

 

 

 

2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

 

3.)   I believe “renewing my mind” is the way to be transformed. Do you?  ________

I need to memorize and meditate on God’s Word in 2016 in order to be transformed!
