A Journey to Financial Freedom

Part Three

Review:

Two Spiritual Footings: 1. God desires contented Children. 2. God owns everything.

Four Foundational Principles:

1.)        Give to God.   Starting with 10% through my local church!

2.)        Live on a Budget for the glory of God!

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare …into ruin and destruction10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils.   It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs… 12 Fight the good fight of the faith. 1 Timothy 6:9-12

3.) Get out of Debt: ________________________________________________.

  • Proverbs 22:7 - The borrower is the slaveof the lender.
  • Proposal: The love of money is at the root of the evil of debt-slavery.

- Confess this to God. REPENT! Then FIGHT for your FREEDOM!!!

18 They (the rich) are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share  19 thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life. 1 Timothy 6:17-19

4.)   Save for the future: ____________________________________________________.

  • Proverbs 13:11 - Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.
  • Rule of 72: Annual Investment Rate (%) x Number of Years to Double = 72

20O Timothy, guard the deposit entrusted to you… 21 Grace be with you.

1 Timothy 6:2-21

God is ready to empower you with:

His Grace to guard well what He has entrusted to you!

Will you humbly trust God and allow Him to lead you to financial freedom?
