Receive Rest as a Gift from God
Part 2 - Real Rest
In order to receive the Sabbath as a gift:
9' so then, there remains a Sabbath rest ... Hebrews 4:9 (CSB)

-Gen. 2:1-3 (CSB) – God had completed his work that he had done, and he
rested on the seventh day...3 God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy...
9 So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God... Hebrews 4:9

-Exodus 20:8 (CSB) - Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy...
10 for whoever has entered God’s rest... Hebrews 4:10 (CSB)

- Mark 2:27-28 (CSB) -27 Then he told them, “The Sabbath was made for[g] man and not man for the Sabbath. 28 So then, the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”

We need rest! Rest is a gift from God – ultimately found in Christ. Will you receive God’s Rest as a gift today?
