I Live by Faith - Part 1

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.                 Galatians 2:20 

There are only two ways of life, for every person on the planet:

1.)       Live by self.

2.)       Live by faith.

• Colossians 3:12 - Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved...

- You are chosen. (Heb. 12:2)

- You are loved. (2 Cor. 5:14) 

1.) Live by self. In self-power..

• Galatians 1:6-7 = Warning: We are prone to revert back in self power!

2.)   Live by faith. In Christ’s power..

• Galatians 2:20 = I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. 

²¹ I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” Gal. 2:21

1.) Live by self. In self-power. On your own team.

2.)   Live by faith. In Christ’s power. On Christ’s Team.

• Colossians 3:12 = Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

- Whose uniform are you wearing?

 ¹⁹ For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. Gal. 2:19

1.) Live by self. In self-power. On your own team. For self glory.

2.) Live by faith. In Christ’s power. On Christ’s Team. For Christ's glory.

• 2 Corinthians 5:15 - And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again. 

Which life do we want? The choice is ours!
